People thought we fixed our old fridge. This new one looks like the old one but has a lot more room. The walls are thinner and it is a bit taller. It is doing a great job.

We bought this refrigerator about a month ago needing to replace a top freezer GE refrigerator that was dying. I have back and hip problems which was becoming a chore when I bent to retrieve items in the back of the old refrigerator. It is great to stand up to get items from the new refrigerator. We also had a water line installed for a ice maker. So far all is well with the new refrigerator. I would highly recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

We purchased this refrigerator to replace a GE top freezer refrigerator. We wanted a bottom freezer because of some medical problems. We have owned this product for about a month. It is so roomy for everything we need. We also had the ice maker connected. We are surprised at how quite it runs. We have had this fridge for about a month now. It is certainly a bit noisier than I had hoped. Nice amount of space and lit well. Have not hooked up the water line for the ice machine yet. Vegetable drawers nearly fall out if you open them too fast. Does not seem to get too dirty with fingerprints and such. Cooling levels currently working efficiently. Door shuts tight but is hard to open sometimes. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Received this model last week (couldn't get the kitchenaid version for another 3 weeks) and it cools very well but is super noisy when the compressor kicks in... got a warranty repair person in who used cork tape to damp down the high pitched whining noise and low rumble from the compressor; much better now but should have been part of the original build imho. prior to fix, it was like having a mosquito in your ear plus a low rumble whenever the cooling compressor went on. The deli drawer (only half width) is not nearly as usable as the old amana full width version (currently available on the too-slow-to-deliver kitchenaid version which is the old amana version imho) has gaps in front and back so deli/cheese smells permeate the fridge. I kept the old amana butter storage bin which fits. this version doesn't come with one. wish I'd kept the amana side mount ice tray, as I've removed the icemaker due to concerns about reliability. capacity is smaller than my old amana bottom freezer 1 door which was 36" wide. no similar model is now available from whirlpool, amana or kitchenaid.

This replaced my side by side that cratered. Very upset it went out but when I saw this unit I said that's what I want. I purchased the refrigerator and the dealer delivered the unit within a couple of hours. Live 30 minutes from dealer.. Amazing. Love this spacious inside rather than the side by side.

I bought this when my side by side finally died and I love it. Super big - lots of versatility and the bottom freezer is perfect. I actually ended up hating my side by side, which was a GE Profile primarily because you couldn't fit things in freezer and being side by side limited your space. I did my research and the Whirlpool got ALL high remarks so couldn't be happier. And I love the black......looks amazing!

We bought this about a month ago when our old unit quite on a weekend. This had similar features that we had on our old one. Works great. The only issue that I would not give it a 5 star is that the door wants to fly completely open at times, and need to be careful to make sure the door gets complete closed. When you push it to close and turn around and at times is not completely closed.
